Part of the “Next Time” video series produced by the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, this video describes a technique that can be used to control emotions by viewing a stressful situation from the perspective of an audience member. Using this personal distancing technique, individuals can observe their emotions without necessarily reacting to them. This video was created with Adobe Photoshop with hand-drawn illustrations and animated in Adobe After Effects.
