2CR’s Regimental Observer Collection Troop force-on-force training

U.S. Soldiers assigned to the Regimental Observer Collection Troop (ROC-T), 2d Cavalry Regiment, conduct a team force-on-force exercise in Vilseck, Germany, Sept. 9, 2026. ROC-T is a multifunctional reconnaissance organization that utilizes several military occupational specialties to accomplish its mission. 2d Cavalry Regiment provides V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps, with combat-credible forces capable of rapid deployment throughout the European theater to defend the NATO alliance.

SETAF-AF customs program achieves top-tier recognition

Spanning across the African continent, the mission integrates crucial border and pre-clearance requirements into everyday military movements. By protecting against agricultural threats and handling prohibited items, the operation strengthens SETAF-AF’s ability to efficiently deploy, operate, and redeploy forces and equipment. For Sgt. Maurice Barnes, a logistical ammunition noncommissioned officer, the boxing ring and Army life are not all that different. Both demand courage, discipline, and the mental toughness to stay focused when the pressure is on.

Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative

Are you ready for the European Entry/Exit System?

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders. EES will capture biometric data, such as fingerprints, facial image, and other travel information, gradually replacing the current system of passport stamping.
