SETAF-AF customs program achieves top-tier recognition

The U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) customs program recently achieved top-tier recognition by placing in the top 5% of USDA-inspected programs. Spanning across the African continent, the mission integrates crucial border and pre-clearance requirements into everyday military movements. By protecting against agricultural threats and handling prohibited items, the operation strengthens SETAF-AF’s ability to efficiently deploy, operate, and redeploy forces and equipment. Beyond the Mission | Sgt. Maurice Barnes

For Sgt. Maurice Barnes, a logistical ammunition noncommissioned officer, the boxing ring and Army life are not all that different. Both demand courage, discipline, and the mental toughness to stay focused when the pressure is on.

Multi-Domain Command-Europe launches High Altitude Balloons (HABs) and dispatches recovery teams in Powidz, Poland during exercise Cold Raptor. Sgt. Eric Atwater and Sgt. Shakir Claxton, both 25S - satellite communication systems operator-maintainers from the Extended Range Sensing and Effects Company (ERSE), explain the mission of Cold Raptor and what the team learned throughout the multiple launches and recoveries. Are you ready for the European Entry/Exit System?

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders. EES will capture biometric data, such as fingerprints, facial image, and other travel information, gradually replacing the current system of passport stamping.
