The Medal of Honor Hall of Heroes Induction Ceremony

Two Soldiers with ties to the U.S. Army Europe and Africa area of responsibility were inducted into the Pentagon's Hall of Heroes for their extraordinary courage and sacrifice.
Master Sgt. Roderick W. Edmonds: A WWII POW who saved Jewish Soldiers by refusing to identify them to Nazi captors, declaring, “We are all Jews.”
Staff Sgt. Michael H. Ollis: A 10th Mountain Division Soldier who shielded a wounded Polish officer from a suicide bomber in Afghanistan, saving lives at the cost of his own.
Their actions exemplify the highest standards of courage, sacrifice, and commitment to freedom.

Overseas Housing Allowance Utilities Survey – Your input affects your housing rates

The Annual Overseas Housing Allowance survey will be active from 1 January 2025 to 31 March 2026. All Service members receiving OHA, except those sharing rent, are encouraged to participate.
Results directly impact the amount of housing allowance each service member receives, as the overseas housing allowance is a cost-reimbursement based allowance.

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders. EES will capture biometric data, such as fingerprints, facial image, and other travel information, gradually replacing the current system of passport stamping.
