Overseas Housing Allowance survey open – your input affects your housing rates
Annual Overseas Housing Allowance Survey for Germany is open from 1 January to 31 March 2022. All Service members receiving OHA, except those sharing rent, are encouraged to participate.
Results directly impact the amount of housing allowance each service member receives, as the overseas housing allowance is a cost-reimbursement based allowance.

EOD Technician Supports Exercise Justified Accord
Explosive Ordnance Disposal is a challenging but rewarding career field pushing physical and mental limits. U.S. Army Soldiers must endure several assessments before, during and after their initial training has been completed. Only a few bear such a responsibility. 1st Lt. Naomi Dawood, an EOD officer is amongst the highly trained individuals that make up this mission critical job.

German rail now being used to help deliver APS-2 from Mannheim to Grafenwoehr
405th Army Field Support Brigade recently began its line-haul heavy equipment transporter deliveries of an entire armored brigade combat team’s worth of equipment with rail. More than two dozen armored vehicles and equipment pieces were shipped from Coleman worksite in Mannheim to Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, via German railway, March 10.

Advisor teams to Senegal help deploy peacekeeping task force, revamp logistics system
The U.S. Africa Command’s security force assistance brigade teams prepared a Senegalese task force for peacekeeping operations in Mali, developed a logistics system that reduced a three-week endeavor to a few days and build friendships that lead Senegalese soldiers to invite U.S. Soldiers to their wedding.
