II Marine Expeditionary Force

Around 1,000 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers participated in exercise Steel Pike 2019 near Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 9-15, 2019. Steel Pike is a joint, regimental exercise designed to provide Marine Air-Ground Task Force capabilities, which increases lethality and combat effectiveness for future combat operations. This exercise included the largest aerial lift of gear and personnel in the past ten years.
