Combat engineers with 1st platoon, Bravo Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group fired the AT4 anti-tank missile and shoulder-launched multipurpose assault weapon July 3 at Camp Rodriguez Live-Fire Complex, Republic of Korea, during Korean Military Exchange Program 15.9. The SMAW is an 83mm portable weapon system that can fire high explosive, dual purpose rockets and high explosive anti-armor rockets. This KMEP focuses on increasing the engineering capabilities of 9th Engineer Support Battalion, and enhances the relations across the Korean Peninsula. Includes sound bites from Sgt.
