Mobility Guardian Now: The Journey to Maximally Connecting MAF Aircraft Pt. 1
Air Mobility Command
May 23, 2021 | 1:30
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. (Ret.) Kenneth Pryor, former KC-10 Extender Boom Operator, explains the early stages of connecting all Mobility aircraft on tactical data link on a video teleconference during Exercise Mobility Guardian, conducted in Alpena, Michigan, May 23, 2021. Years ago, Pryor built a team of Airmen who set out to solve hard problems for the KC-10 community which later impacted the entire MAF. Conducted biennially, Mobility Guardian is the Air Force’s only formal, Total Force, service-level mechanism for assessing and validating capabilities in Rapid Global Mobility missions specified and implied within the 2018 National Defense Strategy.
