Soldiers from the 2nd Batt., 35th Infantry Regiment arrive in Korat, Thailand for exercise Hanuman Guardian 20 on February 18, 2020. U.S. participation in Hanuman Guardian is an annual training exercise that includes approximately 1,440 personnel from the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division from Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Thai participation includes approximately 700 personnel for a total of 2,140 personnel participating in Hanuman Guardian 20. Hanuman Guardian emphasizes the U.S. dedication to its Indo-Pacific partners
and reinforces incentives for international cooperation. It also gives Soldiers and leaders an opportunity to gain familiarization with diverse operation environments, garnish greater respect for host nation culture, and capabilities.
