Airman 1st Class Jake Nichols, 37th Bomb Squadron B-1B Lancer assistant dedicated crew chief, marshals his aircrew and aircraft at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Oct. 24, 2019. The bomber flew a long-duration intercontinental sortie to the U.S. Central Command area of operations in support of regional security. The B-1 routinely demonstrates the rapid deployment capability of U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command to deliver precision-guided ordnance against any adversary. anytime, anywhere. Nichols' hometown is Loveland, Colo.
