About Resolute Castle

Exercise Resolute Castle is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led, multinational, joint exercise which marries U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard, as well as allied and partner nation engineering unit training opportunities with the completion of real world construction projects that enhance training capabilities in various areas of Europe's eastern member-states. Resolute Castle is designed to reinforce regional partnerships and promote interoperability with host nation forces by providing improvements to existing infrastructure.

Resolute Castle 24 utilizes U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and NATO engineers to increase partner capacity and strengthen capabilities across NATO’s eastern member states through real-world engineer-related training and the expansion of infrastructure in support of defender-series exercises.

NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY NAPLES, Italy (March 21, 2025) Master-at-Arms 1st Class Julian Aguiñaga, assigned to Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, discusses the operational necessity of K-9 teams, and performs a K-9 demonstration for students on base March 21, 2025. Navy K-9 Handlers specialize in explosive and drug detection and patrol missions. They train Military Working Dogs (MWDs) to seek out enemies and to be the first line of defense for their units. NSA Naples is an operational base, home to over 50 commands and 8,500 personnel, providing crucial support for U.S. and allied forces across Europe, Africa, and the Central Command's areas of responsibility. From air and port operations to force protection and logistics, the base ensures combat readiness while prioritizing the well-being of service members and their families.
