About Griffin Shock

 
 
 
Griffin Shock is an exercise designed to prepare V Corps and NATO Multinational Corps Northeast with the rapid expansion of NATO Multinational Battlegroup Poland in support of NATO deterrence initiatives such as bolstering readiness, responsiveness, and reinforcement. 

 

Griffin Shock is a combined NATO and U.S. Army short notice exercise that will demonstrate the U.S. Army’s ability to enhance the NATO alliance by rapidly reinforcing the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battlegroup in Poland to a brigade size Land Forces Brigade.

The U.S. Air Force Academy hosts the 21st annual National Character and Leadership Symposium Feb. 26th through 28th. This segment contains a speech by Lisa Leslie Lockwood, WNBA MVP, Olympic Gold Medalist, and her husband, Michael Lockwood, Author, Professional Pilot (USAFA '89).

This year's symposium is themed: "Character Overcoming Conflict: Individual Stories, Global, Impact." NCLS participants will have the opportunity to hear from more than 20 speakers and several panel discussions focused on enhancing one's own understanding of the importance and challenges of sound moral character and leadership.
