About Griffin Shock

 
 
 
Griffin Shock is an exercise designed to prepare V Corps and NATO Multinational Corps Northeast with the rapid expansion of NATO Multinational Battlegroup Poland in support of NATO deterrence initiatives such as bolstering readiness, responsiveness, and reinforcement. 

 

Griffin Shock is a combined NATO and U.S. Army short notice exercise that will demonstrate the U.S. Army’s ability to enhance the NATO alliance by rapidly reinforcing the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battlegroup in Poland to a brigade size Land Forces Brigade.

Volunteers with Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, collect donated gifts from Defense Department employees on center Dec. 4, 2024. As part of the installation's long-standing annual Angel Tree program, the gifts were picked up the same day by school officials from four local area schools for distribution to 61 students identified as "in need." The partner schools are the Bellwood, Bensley and G.H. Reid elementary schools in Richmond and Meadowbrook High School in Chesterfield County.
