The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) partnered with other stakeholders to sponsor the 8th annual National Robot Rodeo, August 26 - August 30, 2024 in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event allows AFCEC the ability to work with industry professionals on emerging technologies, forage connections with various companies and entities, receive feedback from operators in real time to gain foresight on equipment procurement for the Air Force, and influence tech for the great power competition. The National Robot Rodeo (NRR) is an annual showcase that brings together experienced operators from military and public safety bomb squads to evaluate new and emerging robotic capabilities in real world operating environments.
