Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Fort Moore Soldier Seeks Second Olympic Event

U.S. Army Sgt. Ivan Roe, competes at the USA Shooting Smallbore Olympic Trials - Part 3 at Fort Moore, Georgia March 17-19. The Manhattan, Montana native is seeking a spot on Team USA for the 50m Smallbore, or Three-Position Rifle, event at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Roe, who is a marksmanship instructor/competitive shooter with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team, is already qualified to compete in Paris in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event. If he qualifies in Smallbore, he will represent the Nation in two events. This will be Roe's first Olympics.
