Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Jakin Buckalew, an Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet at Auburn University, talks about how AFROTC and his experience as a power-lifter at Auburn has shaped him into a more confident leader. In Air University's program, cadets are students first and spend an average of four to six contact hours weekly as freshmen and sophomores. As juniors and seniors, cadets spend six to 10 hours of contact time weekly as they work to build and refine their leadership skills. Successful completion of a four-year accredited degree program and Air Force ROTC leads to a commission as a second lieutenant in the Air Force.
