Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

U.S. and Philippine Marines go from ship to shore utilizing Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAV) during an amphibious landing exercise in support of Balikatan 2019 at the Naval Education and Training Command training area, Zambales, Philippines, April 10, 2019. Exercise Balikatan, in its 35th iteration, is an annual U.S.-Philippine military training focused on a variety of missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counter-terrorism, and other combined military operations held from April 1 to April 12. Balikatan helps participating forces maintain a high level of readiness and responsiveness and enhances combined military-to-military relations and capabilities.
