Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command

Alabama Army National Guard Soldiers came together to show support to a group of people who are very close to their hearts. Around 30 Guardsmen with the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command out of Birmingham, Alabama shaved their heads in support of those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Sgt. Maj. Mike Oakley, 135th ESC G3 Operations SGM of Birmingham, Alabama; Lt. Col. Kyle Hannah, 135th ESC G8 Finance OIC of Trussville, Ala. And Sgt. 1st Class Ricky Heath, 135th Maintenance NCO of Piedmont, Ala. shared some of their stories of how cancer has touched their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
