Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

353d Civil Affairs Command

In this quarter's wrap up, Army Reserve Soldiers the 411th Civil Affairs Battalion were in Hohenfels, Germany, taking part in Combined Resolve. Combined Resolve, a multi-national exercise is designed to evaluate and assess the readiness of a brigade combat team to fight and win during their regionally allocated forces rotation in support of Atlantic Resolve. The exercise also focuses on strengthening interoperability with multinational partners.

The 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion took part in Allied Spirit, an exercises aimed to help train our allies and partners to learn and grow from each other and the US through methods of interoperability.

The 353d Civil Affairs Command held a change of command ceremony for Brigadier General Timothy Brennan, while welcomingBrigadier General Jeffrey Thompson at Fort Hamilton, New York. Brennan commanded the CACOM for almost two years will be moving on to take over as Deputy Operations director of Africa Command.
