Soldiers with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Airmen assigned to the 68th Airlift Squadron, 433rd Airlift Wing, unload HH-60 medical evacuation Blackhawk helicopters from two C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft. Sept. 11.

The air load operation is part of the 101st Airborne Division's preparations to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division received orders to reposition some of its forces, it has not been ordered to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission. However, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
