Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

U.S. Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, assigned to Joint Task Force - Southern Border, conduct a 3-day patrol with Strykers at the southern border near Deming, N.M., May 1-3, 2025. This was one of the longest continuous operations of the southern border mission and the battalion's first 3-day southern border operation. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command, JTF-SB aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
