Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

U.S. Army Green Berets from 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) conduct joint security operations with service members from the Armed Forces of the Philippines Special Operations Command 5th Scout Ranger Company, 5th Scout Ranger Battalion, 1st Scout Ranger Regiment-1st Light Reaction Company, 1st Light Reaction Battalion, Light Reaction Regiment, and the Philippine National Police Force Special Action Force during Balikatan 24 in San Vicente, Palawan, Philippines, April 30, 2024. The mission facilitated a joint freefall operation led by U.S. Air Force Special Tactics Airmen assigned to 320th Special Operations Squadron, a beach landing of a U.S. Navy landing craft, air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5 and the subsequent loading of a U.S. Army M142 High Mobility Rocket System by 3rd Platoon, Alpha Battery, 1st Long Range Fires Battalion, 1st Multi-Domain Task Force. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
