Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

U.S. Marines with Arrival and Assembly Operations Group (AAOG) and Sailors with Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1 (NCHB-1) unload equipment from the USNS Pililaau and prepare it for delivery to personnel from II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) taking part in Nordic Response 24 at Hammarnesodden Port, Norway, Feb. 12, 2024. The Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) program provides II MEF personnel with a variety of tactical vehicles, equipment and supplies necessary to sustain and support operations during Nordic Response 24. Exercise Nordic Response 24 will test military activities ranging from the reception of allied and partner reinforcements and command and control interoperability to combined joint operations, maritime prepositioning force logistics, integration with NATO militaries, and reacting against an adversary force during a dynamic training environment.
