Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Exercise Trident Juncture, Ultimate Reach

Approximately 200 members of the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, partnered with 18th Air Force's Joint Base Charleston, S.C., C-17 Globemaster III crews for a practice jump over Pope Army Airfield, N.C., Nov. 2, 2015, in preparation for Exercise Ultimate Reach Nov. 2-8 in Spain. Ultimate Reach in an annual U.S. Transportation Command-sponsored live-fly exercise designed to evaluate 18th Air Force's transportation units' ability to plan and conduct strategic airdrop missions. Ultimate Reach 16 is a sub-exercise of Exercise Trident Juncture, NATO's largest global exercise in 20 years, which consists of 36,000 troops from more than 35 NATO nations.
