Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) hosted the 2024 Military Instructor of the Year Awards Ceremony on Feb. 20, 2025. The ceremony honored exemplary service members across various ranks and commands. Among the distinguished winners were Junior Enlisted, HM2(DWS/FMF) Alexander Craig, Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, Panama City, Florida; Mid-Grade Enlisted, GM1(SW/EXW) Johnelle Jones, Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois; Senior Enlisted, MUCS Josh Neumeyer, Naval School of Music, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Officer, Lt. Katherine Bertschi, Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific, San Diego, California; and NROTC, Capt. John Meren, NROTC Unit, The Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina. Capt. Gregory L. Tiner, chief of staff and commanding officer, NETC, delivered an inspiring address.
