Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Fort Carson honors President George H.W. Bush with 50-gun salute

Soldiers assigned to Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, execute a 50-gun salute to honor the passing of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, at Founders Field, Fort Carson, Colorado, Dec. 6, 2018. Immediately following retreat, Battery C, 2-77 FAR fired one blank round every five seconds for each of the 50 states. At noon the same day 2-77 FAR also conducted a 21-gun salute to honor Bush. U.S. military installations across the world rendered honors to Bush throughout the week. (U.S. Army video by Capt.
