Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa led biennial exercise that leverages Arctic host nation exercises Local Defense Exercise 25 in Finland and Joint Viking 25 in Norway, February 17-28, 2025, to build Arctic readiness and interoperability in support of the U.S. Army's Arctic Strategy.

Arctic Forge 25 is focused on building the U.S. Army’s Arctic capabilities including deployment to the Arctic, Arctic multi-domain operations, and Arctic sustainment, and includes approximately 330 U.S. and 750 multinational participants from Canada (TBD), Finland and Norway.

Market Garden 80 Air Assault Demonstration
101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)

Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) along with Dutch partners conducted an air assault demonstration at the town of Eerde, Netherlands on September 17, 2024. The air assault demonstration was to show the people of the Netherlands the evolution of vertical envelopment and the capability of a long range, large scale air assault. The demonstration was part of a series of events to help commemorate the 80th anniversary of Operation Market Garden during World War II which sought to free the Netherlands from Nazi-occupation and open up a pathway to Germany.
