Allies Spirit

US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Lithuanian soldiers train to respond to a simulated chemical attack during Allied Spirit 25 on March 11, 2025, at the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany. The footage shows soldiers reacting in real time—securing their positions, moving toward the threat, and quickly donning gas masks to stay in the fight. The exercise strengthens teamwork, builds confidence, and ensures forces stay ready for any challenge. (Video by Sgt. Christopher Fleming/382nd Public Affairs Detachment).
