Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

U.S. Soldiers of the 507th Engineer Battalion, 1433rd Combat Engineer Company-Infantry and 1st Battalion, 147th Aviation Regiment execute helocast training from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during annual training at Camp Grayling, Mich., on June 11, 2024. A helocast is an airborne technique that allows forces to insert into an area by jumping directly from a helicopter into water. Annual training is typically a 15-day training period that allows Soldiers to execute complex training plans in order to increase proficiency in unit essential tasks.
