Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Defense Health Agency
June 4, 2024 | 01:00:12
The DHA Office of Religious Affairs conducted a six-session training series on the “Importance of Spiritual Readiness." This training is not specific to any particular religious or faith group, rather the training focuses on how Spiritual Readiness is important for all people of all faiths, for both the religious and non-religious, and was open to service members, civilians, and contractors. This is Session 4: Spiritual Fitness and Leadership.

The Department of Defense recognizes that Spiritual Fitness is an essential area that requires training and development for DoD personnel to be healthy, fit, and resilient. The DoD has included Spiritual Fitness as one of the major components of the Total Force Fitness Framework first established by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 3405.01. This DoD instruction applies to all members of the DoD, to include all military services.
