Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

This edition features stories on a Yellow Ribbon event at RAF Lakenheath welcoming home two F-15 crew members who were forced to eject over Libya, Airmen from all over Europe and some from the U.S., participating in exercise Silver Flag at Ramstein Air Base, Spangdahlem Air Base offering E-10 gasoline at the pumps there, former NFL wide receiver, Chris Horn, bringing his “Dare to be Different” presentation to Malmstrom Air Force Base, and the U.S. Ambassador to Spain visiting Airmen deployed to Spain in support of Operation Unified Protector.
