Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

U.S. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division and Uruguayan Navy train on the M240B weapon system while aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) in the Atlantic Ocean during exercise UNITAS LXIII, Sept. 6, 2022. U.S. Marines and Uruguayan Navy trained together on how to reassemble/disassemble, function check and remedial action. UNITAS is the world's longest-running annual multinational maritime exercise that focuses on interoperability among multiple nations and joint forces during littoral and amphibious operations in order to build on existing regional partnerships and create new enduring relationships that promote peace, stability and prosperity in the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility.
