Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

EABO in Australia, CSSA & FARP
31st Marine Expeditionary Unit

U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a combat support service area exercise and a forward arming and refueling point exercise at Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Australia, July 3-7, 2023. The CSSA and FARP sustained the 31st MEU’s Marine Air-Ground Task Force within an expeditionary advanced base of operations. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
