Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Jan. 24, 2019 | 1:15
An Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service 2nd School graduation took place Jan. 24, 2019, at the ICTS training area in Baghdad, Iraq. During the ceremony, it is traditional for operators to display the wide range of skills they have achieved over the previous weeks. Iraqi and Coalition Forces work together to create training plans and hold classes that enhance the operability of CTS. The classes are constantly modified to have the most applicable training for real-world scenarios. The Coalition works by, with and through partner forces to defeat ISIS and sets conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability. (U.S. Army video by Spc. Sarah K Anwar)
