Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

60 in 60: Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron provides rapid patient movement anytime, anywhere
60th Air Mobility Wing
April 5, 2024 | 1:00
First activated in 1957 as the 1st Aeromedical Evacuation Group, the 60th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California, is comprised of 160 flight and ground personnel.

They provide half of Air Mobility Command's immediate response for aeromedical evacuation, capable of rapid patient movement around the globe in any environment.

The 60th AES's arrival at Travis AFB makes the wing the only AMC wing to have all four core capabilities of airlift, air refueling, airfield management, and aeromedical evacuation.
