Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Marines with Combined Anti-Armor Team 1, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, execute a High Intensity Tactical Training event with the supervision of Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructors on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 30, 2019. High Intensity Tactical Training strengthens Marines’ mental and physical endurance to prepare for the rigors of a combat environment. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
