Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Marcos Torres, an expeditionary fuel technician team leader with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 271, is interviewed at Coastal Carolina Regional Airport in New Bern, North Carolina, Oct. 18, 2023. Expeditionary fuel technicians with MWSS-271 trained with Coastal Carolina Regional Airport personnel as part of the Contingency Quality Assurance Specialist-Fuels initiative. CQAS-F aims to provide commanders with the capability to identify fuel-facility infrastructure, quality assurance of fuel sources, commercial industry resourcing, equipment requirements, and additional sustainment options in a contested logistics environment.
