Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Evolving the Data Workforce

The DON Implementation of the DoD Data Strategy (I-Plan) provides Line of Effort 2, Evolve the Workforce, as the enterprise-level approach to creating a modern, DON data workforce. As the formal collaboration community of the DON Data workforce, the Data Community of Practice & Excellence (DCOPE) fosters technical exchange, networking, and professional development across the DON and serves as a decision support cell that advises senior leader decisions on analytic strategy, standards, and performance. The plans for increasing DCOPE organization, collaboration, and involvement in shaping DON data and analytics initiatives is a centerpiece of building a DON data workforce capable of executing the DON’s data vision of leveraging data to drive decision advantage at the speed of the mission.
