Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Sgt. Hetherington's Happy Holidays Greeting

Sgt. Jacob Hetherington, a Prescott, Arizona native, sends his holiday greeting back home. Since he joined the Army in 2015, Hetherington has been a member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Action Shooting Team, which is stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. Hetherington competes in U.S. Practical Shooting Association and International Defense Pistol Association style matches and has won a number of national titles. Most recently, the Soldier claimed the USPSA Area 4 Production Champion title.
