Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

221st Quartermaster Company Competes in 56th Phillip A. Connelly Evaluation

The 221st Quartermaster Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, competed in the 56th Phillip A. Connelly Evaluation on March 13, 2024, Grafenwoehr, Germany.

The evaluation includes field feeding teams from all military branches and judges the execution of food service excellence of culinary specialists, 92G. The 221st Quartermaster Company previously won the competition in 2023.

The 221st Quartermaster Company is located in Ansbach, Germany, and serves two dining facilities in USAG Ansbach and Tower Barracks. It is the second field feeding company in the European Theater, comprised of two platoons and one headquarters element. The unit also includes six deployable field feeding teams.
