Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

To the Horse - New Horizons 2019
Air Forces Southern
Aug. 19, 2019 | 4:40
In just 3 months our engineers from across the United States Air Force and the U.S. Army have finished 4 construction projects here in Guyana. These places belong to each and every Guyanese citizen, and we couldn't be prouder of the hard work our service members accomplished.

Deployed members are from the 823d RED HORSE Squadron from Hurlburt Field, the 820th Red Horse Squadron and the 99th Civil Engineer Squadron from Nellis Air Force Base, the 366th Civil Engineer Squadron from Mountain Home Air Force Base Gunfighters, the 97th Civil Engineer Squadron from Atlus Air Force Base, and the 276th Engineer Company from the Missouri National Guard.

The New Horizons exercise 2019 provided U.S. military members an opportunity to train for an overseas deployment and the logistical requirements it entails. The exercise promoted bilateral cooperation by providing opportunities for U.S. and partner nation military engineers, medical personnel and support staff to work and train side by side.
