Allies Spirit

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Soldiers and family members participated in the most recent 99th RSC Yellow Ribbon Program event. The event took place Dec. 18 through Dec. 20 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a Department of Defense-wide program that addresses Soldiers’ and Families’ concerns before, during and after deployments through a series of scheduled weekend events. The DoD launched the Yellow Ribbon program in 2008 to ensure reserve-component Soldiers have access to the information and resources they need to reintegrate with their families, their communities and their employers effectively.
