Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

U.S. Soldiers assigned to Echo 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment (Attack Reconnaissance), 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, conduct a field training exercise at the Amberg Local Training Area, Freihoels Forst, Germany, Feb. 14, 2018. The unit conducted an evaluation Field Training exercise for Soldiers assigned to Echo Forward Support Company, Task Force Viper from Katterbach Army Airfield. The Soldiers Perform aviation forward arming refuel points, ground maintenance, field feeding, convoy operations, and unit defense.
