Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) instructor team from the U.S. Army 763rd EOD Co., Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. led Senegal's first 12-week UN Intermediate Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Course in Bargny, Senegal, Aug. 23, 2023. SETAF-AF coordinates and resources the training of Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel in Senegal and other African partner nations. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
