Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

(August 7, 2018) - Soldiers at Camp Grayling's Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site work to ensure the military's vehicles are mission capable during Northern Strike. The MATES is equipped to handle all types of military vehicles, making it an important asset for the Michigan National Guard and all branches of the armed forces participating in Northern Strike. Northern Strike is a joint multinational combined arms live fire exercise involving approximately 5,000 service members from 11 states and six coalition countries.
