Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.
 
Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

SAN DIEGO (July 22, 2020) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Hayley Craig, a Sailor assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), from Jeffersonville, Indiana, is interviewed by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Joseph A. Millar, from Memphis, Tennessee, about the actions he took during the fire aboard Bonhomme Richard. On the morning of July 12, a fire was called away aboard the ship while it was moored pierside at Naval Base San Diego. Base and shipboard firefighters responded to the fire.
