Allies Spirit

US Army Europe Best Warrior Logo

Allied Spirit is a U.S. Army exercise for multinational partners, conducted at 7th Army Training Command training areas at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany.

Unlike other USAREUR-AF exercises, which feature U.S. brigade combat teams in a lead role augmented by Allies and partners, Allied Spirit places an Allied unit as the main training audience. While U.S.-led, this exercise will develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.

Dec. 3, 2018 | 0:49
A video produced to showcase a re-enlistment aboard the USS Wisconsin (BB 64). The Hampton Roads Naval Museum hosted a re-enlistment aboard the Wisconsin for GM2(SW) Andrew Shotts, assigned to Beach Master Unit Two. The video was produced using still photos and footage taken during the event; along with archived footage of Beach Master Unit Two. The Wisconsin is an Iowa-Class Battleship that is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and Nauticus in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. The Wisconsin and the museum's gallery are popular venues for military ceremonies for area commands. To inquire about a military ceremony, contact their Special Events Coordinator at Thomas.Dandes@navy.mil or at (757) 322-3106. (US Navy Video by Max Lonzanida/Released).
