Joe Higgins and Chadrick Wigle, coaches with II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE), Boxing program, explain the goals of the program and outline their expectations for their Marine boxing team. II MEF MACE is a combative training center for the Marines and Sailors stationed at Camp Lejeune. The Marines of II MEF come from all walks of life and each bring their own unique perspectives and talents to the boxing team; through focused discipline, high morals, mental and physical toughness, they prepare for victory.
