AGILE SPIRIT is a EUCOM scheduled, USAREUR-AF directed and led regional joint field training and command post exercise co-led by participating host nations that strengthens regional security cooperation, builds military capacity, integrates innovations, and fosters interoperability in NATO and with participating partners.

3rd Brigade Combat Team Conducts Deployment Readiness Exercise
82nd Airborne Division

Paratroopers from 3BCT of the 82nd Airborne Division conducts Deployment Readiness Exercise (DRE) at Joint Base Charleston. Paratroopers finished their final inspection on their gear prior to being transported to their designated aircraft. Paratroopers began buddy rigging into their parachute hardness while enroute to their drop zone. Jumpmasters conducted jumpmaster's personnel inspection (JMPI) on every Paratrooper prior. Once safety checks are complete, 3BCT Paratroopers completed the DRE by jumping into at Fort Polk LA, and beginning the next phase of their training: JRTC.
