U.S. Army soldiers with Chosin Company, 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division, and Royal Thai Army soldiers with 1st Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment sharpen their marksmanship skills and practice individual movement techniques together at the small arms range during Exercise Cobra Gold, Feb. 29, 2024, Sa Kaeo, Thailand. Cobra Gold, now in its 43rd year, is a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored training event that builds on the long-standing friendship between the two allied nations and brings together a robust multinational force to promote regional peace and security in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
