Spectre 17 Gunship 50th Anniversary oral history video

Vietnam-era crew recalls famed Spectre 17 flight. The crew, assigned to the 16th Special Operations Squadron, were operating a combat mission supporting Operation Commando Hunt, a campaign of the Vietnam War. Their aircraft was struck by 57mm round, leaving the aircraft damaged and crew members wounded. Together, members of the gunship crew share their experience and reflect on how their war-time experiences influenced their lives and close relationships.
