First Lieutenant Melissa Box, a field artillery officer from Field Artillery Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment, U.S. Army, who is assigned to Battle Group Poland, discusses training with the M777 Howitzer in Orzysz, Poland, on April 2, 2017. The Battle Group comprised of U.S., U.K., Romanian and Polish Soldiers are currently deployed to Orzysz, Poland for six months in support of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP). NATO's eFP is an allied, forward deployed defense and deterrence posture in Eastern Europe to protect and reassure NATO's Eastern member states of their security.
