Jan. 21, 2014 | 2:59
Marine Corps Leadership Development is an effort currently under development by the Lejeune Leadership Institute, Marine Corps University. Marine Corps Leadership Development focuses on providing commanders and Marine Corps leaders at every rank practical tools to develop themselves and Marines entrusted to their charge in six important areas of personal and professional development while leaving maximum room for creativity and intiative. A pilot has been underway at 2d Marine Air Wing since June 2013 and a number of regiments, groups, battalions and squadrons in III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Forces Reserve Command have recently initiated unit-level programs.
